Cynthia's obituary
It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Cynthia "Stitch" Whippia, who left this world on August 4, 2025. Born on August 21, 1979, Cynthia, also affectionately known as Stitch, was a beacon of love, kindness, and caring towards everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Survived by her sister, Kim Wills, sister Rebecca Barney, and Mother Betty Demers, Cynthia's memory lives on in the hearts of all who cherished her. Her spirit was a vibrant blend of fun, love, and care. An avid fan of the outdoors, she was known for her passion for kayaking, fishing, and camping. Always a traveler, Cynthia made a point of experiencing life in every way she possibly could.
A tireless worker, Cynthia dedicated a significant part of her life to serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant in various nursing homes before pursuing her nursing degree. Amongst her greatest accomplishments, however, was creating a special place for her beloved children.
Her life lessons were few but profound, with the most notable being: "Live for today!!!" Cynthia believed in embracing each day as if it were a unique gift, an attitude that touched everyone who knew her.
A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held on her birthday, August 21, 2025, at 9:00 PM at 11220 US-11. The joyous occasion will be a testament to Cynthia's enduring legacy: "Be kind to everyone. You never know what they are going through in life." An eternally devoted mother, Cynthia's children, Kassie-Mae, Darrin Ashley, and Koddie Demers, were, and will always be, her greatest loves. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those she left behind.
