Cynthia's obituary

The family of Cynthia Tatlock announces with great sorrow her passing on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Cynthia, aged 57, courageously and gracefully lived with her 15-year struggle with cancer and went from her family's loving embrace to be with her savior, Jesus Christ.
Cynthia was born in October 1963 to Robert and Patricia (Johnson) Rosenstiel in Houston, TX. The family moved to Commerce, TX, in 1975. Cynthia’s interests in school included Future Business Leaders of American and band/flag corps. Following her graduation from Commerce High School in 1982, she attended Texas Christian University where she met William (Bill) Tatlock, with whom she instantly fell in love, and on June 7, 1986, they married. The couple has since lived in Arlington, TX, where they raised their two sons, Tim and Robert, and two daughters, Kristina and Emily.
Cynthia is remembered for her unwavering faith and for her love for her family. She shared her generous spirit - and many, many meals at her dinner table - with multiple generations of family and with many not related by blood who needed a place of respite. Her four grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she played a very active role in all of their lives.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Robert. She is survived by her mother Patricia of Nashville, TN, her husband Bill, eldest son Timothy of Tyler, TX, daughter Kristina of Sydney, Australia, son Robert of Nashville, TN, daughter Emily (Weston) of Midland, TX, and her sisters Linda Boyd (Bruce Richardson) of Houston, TX, and Donna Rosenstiel (Mitch Roberson) of Nashville, TN, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Lucas, Logan, Harper, Carson, and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made via GoFundMe.com, at https://gofund.me/a6353407, to help with final expenses. Cynthia requested that those in attendance of her celebration of life wear pink or purple, as those were her favorite colors.
