Cynthia's obituary
Her research work on the processing of edible oils received multiple awards. She later moved on to food packaging and was granted patents for microwave popcorn packaging.
After leaving the R&D Group of Hunt Wesson Foods in Fullerton, Ca., she continued working in the food packaging industry as a consultant.
She spent her retirement years volunteering with Meals On Wheels, and working with Seniors needing assistance. She also pursued her interest in genealogy.
She died of breast cancer, at the age of 69, on April 9, 2019.
Her life was marked by the pursue of knowledge and a determination to make meaningful contributions, both in advancing food technology and helping those around her.
