Cynthia's obituary

Cynthia Scott was born July 23, 1965 in Washington, DC at DC General Hospital, where she later worked for several years. She was a lifelong resident of Washington, DC, and attended Margaret Washington High School. She later continued her career where she served as a Program Administrative Assistant at the Department of Disability Services.

Cynthia was a true social butterfly who lived her life out loud, and on purpose. She loved Zumba, entertaining, cooking and family gatherings. She was outspoken, and made sure everyone knew how much she loved her family, and how very proud she was of each and every one of us. Cynthia was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Services for Cynthia Scott will be held at:
Where: Hackett's Funeral Home, 814 Upshur St. N.W., Washington, DC 20011
When: Wednesday, October 14, 2020
Viewing: 9-11 a.m. (limited to 10-15 ppl at a time due to Co-VID)
Services will be held from 11 a.m. -12 pm, and is limited to immediate family.
Burial: Glenwood Cemetery, 2219 Lincoln Rd. N.E., Washington, DC 20002 (Friends and family will be able to make remarks)
