Cynthia “Shellie” Michelle Rogers (nee Denning), 61, of Overland, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on July 21, 2025.

Shellie was born in St. Louis, MO and grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. She was married to her devoted husband, James Rogers, for 35 years. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and generosity.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Adelbert Denning and Judy Denning (nee Montgomery).

Shellie was the cherished mother of Mike Carr, Megan Murphy, Mackenzie Williams, Morgan Smiley, and Mitch Rogers. She was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought her endless joy and pride. She is survived by her four beloved sisters: Julie Wetteroff, Kathleen Reilly, Stephanie McDowell, and Angie Breneisen

Shellie dedicated her life to taking care of others and found great joy in traveling, puzzles, and being surrounded by loved ones. Known for her outgoing spirit, kindness, and loving nature, she welcomed everyone with open arms and was always ready to help anyone in need. Her warmth and generosity touched countless lives and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
