Cynthia Porter's love of laughter, life, and good cooking didn't end with her death on December 6th, 2018. It’s a legacy that will live through her children and grandchildren.

Cynthia Darlene Porter, né Arthur was born on June 27th, 1960 to proud parents Agnes and Purle “Art” Arthur. Followed by brother JR, and sisters Sherry and Shelly.

Cynthia attended Topsail high school and had her first son Eric Sniff with her high school sweetheart. She went on to have her daughter Amanda Blackmore, and son Nikko Costello.

Making homes on both coasts Portland, OR and Wilmington NC, Cynthia worked and thrived in Software Sales. But no matter which coast, she was always dressed in the latest fashions and drove a convertible sports car.

Cynthia loved Jesus Christ and was a baptized member of the Castle Hayne Church of God. She was a good-hearted soul willing to drop all to lend a helping hand. Being a single parent and working full time gave her a demanding schedule and a full plate, but she still always found time to have fun with her family.

Cynthia is survived by her mother, sisters, brother, children, and four grandchildren; Brontȅ, Guillaume, Mira, and Noah.
