Survived by her son, Forrest Green, and her husband, Norwood Pittman, Cindy leaves behind a legacy filled with heartfelt memories. Her life journey saw her graduating from high school in Keokuk, IA in 1966, and in the spring of 1974, she embraced the joy of marriage. A few years later, in 1977, she was blessed with the birth of her son, Forrest.

The late 80s brought significant changes to Cindy's life. After moving to Ruidoso, NM in 1987, she started a job at the Ruidoso Police Department in 1988, providing a valuable service to her community. And though 1994 saw the end of her first marriage, life had a second chance at love in store for Cindy. In 2010, she found love again, marrying Norwood Pittman, a beautiful relationship she cherished until her last breath.

Cindy's love for life and culture was evident in her eclectic range of interests. She was an avid reader with A Prayer for Owen Meany, Johnny Got His Gun, and Lord of the Rings among her favorite books. She enjoyed The Beatles, Vivaldi, and various classic Rock artists, and her favorite movies included Defending Your Life, Trumbo, and Amadeus. A loyal fan, Cindy passionately supported the Kansas City Chiefs.

Her zest for life didn't end there. She loved playing Michigan Rummy, Skip Bo, Yahtzee, and internet Spades, where she met her beloved Nor. Cindy also cherished DCI performances, her Roy Orbison DVD, and anything involving the Beatles. Her recreational activities included gardening, cooking, staying in touch with friends, caring for her pets, playing games, and enjoying the outdoors on the lanai. Paris, France held a special place in her heart as one of her favorite vacation spots.

Cindy's personality shone in every aspect of her life. She was caring, thoughtful, considerate, nurturing, witty, funny, knowledgeable, and polite. The perfect caregiver, Cindy touched many lives with her kindness and wisdom. She believed in following her heart and simply enjoying life. Cindy's legacy is one of kindness and generosity. In the words of her favorite musical group, "Nothing is real, and nothing to get hung about..."

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
