I believe this was the first time Mom flew out to meet Cindi and her kids.

Cindi was such an amazing lady! We didn’t find each other until later in our lives. She flew Mom out a few times to see her. We talked on the phone and texted each other a lot. She was finally able to fly out to Indiana. I remember standing at the bottom of the escalator at the airport waiting for her. As soon as I saw her and we were able to hug each other that sisterly bond was there. She flew out another time and we had so much fun. We even got little matching tattoos. Hearts, one purple for Cindi and mine was light green! I flew out in March 2021 and again October 2024. I am so blessed and thankful for our relationship. Until we meet again I love you sissy girl 💜💚

I met Cindi when I was a trainer for Volunteers of America’s Women’s Program and saw what an exceptionally talented therapist she was . I encouraged her to attend Marylhurst University to get her BA..
After she graduated from Maryhurst University in 2005 and with her excellent training skills I arranged for her to offer training/teaching in Addiction and Motivational Interviewing at Portland State University and Maryhurst College University . She was an exceptional presenter and trainer !!!
I later work for her as a consultant at Coffee Creek Men’s and Women’s Program . Her Management and Supervision ability was very good !! She changed many people’s lives !!
Cindi walked the walk of resilience . She was a wonderful person who experienced pain in her life and rebounded to be one of the most remarkable therapists and Program Managers I have ever encountered . What a privilege to have known her !! Cindi you really touched so many peoples lives in your family in Oregon ! Your spirit lives on ! You made a difference !!

I admired Cindi's work in groups and 1:1 with clients at VOAWRC. We worked closely together in a TEAM before she flew away to bigger and better things-my heart is broken-she was a bright light in our world.

I am so sad to have lost such an amazing person and friend. Her family was her love and she definitely would come between anyone trying to infringe on that.
Cindi, we kept saying we needed to get together and I kept letting life interfere with that. For that I am eternally sorry. I miss our shared office, your wisdom and your humor. You definitely made an imprint on who I am. ♥️
