Many moons ago late 80's? The Garvey's, The Pickard's and us Lloyd's went on an adventure to the Holidome in Mt Pleasant. Very Early Spring we went for a walk outside and Cindie being the diva she was, always managed to wear shoes with high heels on, we ended up on a golf course putting green, and the effect of her high heeled shoes was not very pretty on the poor green.
Something that I will never forget! Retro Rocket

Hey Tom, We are so very Sorry to hear about Cindies passing. Seems like yesterday we were all in our 20's & having fun at Wolverines parties. We hope your family takes comfort in the knowledge that Cindie is out of pain, and she is with God now.

We are all very saddened of the passing of our friend Cindie. We met back in the early 80's when Tom and I were employed at Wolverine Broach.. ( the good old days)..I have a rather humorous memory to share, maybe just to bring a smile. I see in the obituaries, Cindie enjoyed the music of Frank Sinatra, Van Morrison....ect.. Well, one evening long ago and far away...I brought over to Tom and Cindies a recently purchased Boom Box and a borrowed Mic from my daughter that plugged in and fitted with a Eric Clapton cassette tape. I do believe this was before Karaoke ..lol ..Tom and I took turns swooning the girls along with the song.. "Wonderful Tonight" on that Ghetto Blaster...That's what ole Gary Mayes called it anyway. The girls seemed to enjoy it...LOL
And thanks to Jessica which gave me the nickname...."Bugly"..aka..Big Lee...It was tough for a two year old to pronounce "Big Lee".. so I acquired the name "BUGLY" which you always acknowledged me as. " hey bugly."
Cindie, I know we all seemed to have drifted apart over the years, but we still cared about you all very much. It was nice to catch up every now and then at some sort of gathering.
We'll catch up again someday. Until then.
You will be missed Cindie Garvey.
Your friend Bugly.

Tom, Jessica and Janelle & family, we are so incredibly saddened by your loss. Cindie was such a bright light! I have wonderful memories growing up being at all the parties her and Tom would have. They always took pictures and the barn walls were always covered with pictures and you could always find yourself in one. She could make anyone laugh. I'm sad I never seen the rubber band dance but hoping one of the girls will share that with me someday. Until we meet again my friend ❤️

I immediately liked Cindi the day I met her. So many memories... From Wolverine parties, us all going to cabins in TN right after Jess was born, me watching Jessica daily during the week, getting together at parties, lots of parties.... to going to each of our kids weddings, ect...We met up at lots of funerals, just never thought or wanted to see hers. Fly high my friend until we meet again. May God be with us as we all share your loss.
