Cynthia Friday, 71 years old, recently passed away on June 25, 2025, in Cypress, Texas. 

Cynthia was born on January 29, 1954, the youngest of four daughters to Pauline Pynes and Marvin Pynes.

Cynthia is survived by sons Doug, Nick, and Marc Friday and daughter, Amanda, as well as seven grandchildren (Abby, Tessa, Will, Reese, Quinn, Luke, and Aurora). She is also survived by her sister, Candi Feller, of Wimberley, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Friday, who recently passed away in 2023. James and Cynthia met while attending the University of Houston, and they married on January 15, 1975.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Pauline Pynes, along with her sisters Patricia Pynes and Paula David. 

A graveside inurnment for Cynthia will be held on August 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, with a reception to follow.
