Gone too soon.  I feel blessed to have had her in my life.  She has gone to a better place, free of pain, but leaves a void for us that loved her. I think of all the fun she provided, and am thankful to have known her.

I miss my Mom so much that there are no words. My heart hurts and I will never be able to fill this void. I have lost not only my Mom but my best friend. I love you Momma. Fly high and dance with the angels.

Cindy served people at the cafe almost half of her life. She was such an important part of the team  atmosphere, service, rules, inspiration cheer. I, and many others will truly miss her and never forget all that she gave of herself.  Thank you, Cindy!
I cant even imagine what it is like for you. I knew her less than a year and i find it hard to fathom that she is gone... hard to breathe. I love Cindy so so much and anyone that knows how much she meant to me knows how devastating this was. A huge loss for us, a huge gain for Heaven. I miss you Cindy. Thanks for the memories❤

I worked with Cindy during my two runs at the diner. We often joked about being the same age for the months between her birthday in July and mine in February. I’ll always remember her loud laugh and how she could be so serious and sassy all at the same time.

Knowing how much the diner was a part of her life, and the regulars who dined there, she will be one of the many who will be forever remembered as a part of Nancy May’s 50’s Cafe history! The diner continues, but will “never be the same” as it was “in the good ol’ days”. The new Nancy May’s IS/WILL create a new and different atmosphere and still carry on the home style feel of a restaurant. Everyone will know the stories of those that MADE the diner what it is today. Cindy IS one of the cafe’s history makers!

I always just thought, Cindy will get better and go back— her passing seems surreal. She was too young! Thankful her suffering is over! You’ll be missed, Cindy—you already are by so many!

So sorry for your loss- Cindy left an indelible imprint on all those lucky enough to be her friend. She loved her people well- her family was monumentally important to her- I know you’re missing her- honor her with laughter and truth
