Cynthia Deans, 31, of Russellville, KY passed away on June 02, 2023 after a brain aneurysm. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Cynthia was predeceased by her father Shamari Cage. She is survived by her daughter, Anani James. Her partner, Adonis James. Her mother Umeki Deans-Friend. Her stepfather, J.W. Friend. Her brothers, Jamari Cage, and Jaylen Friend. Her sisters Shamaya Cage, Jaliyah Friend, and Bria Cage. After Cynthia attended East Grand Rapids High School, she went on to study at  Washtenaw College, earning a degree in Nursing in May 2022. Cynthia was an avid artist and lover of all things ART!! Her favorite medium was abstract no one could see it til she explained. Cynthia participated in Man In The City Experience Event in Detroit, Michigan where she showed off her beautiful "Man In The D." The family asks that donations be made to here her daughter Anani James. She wears a size 2T in clothes, 6c in shoes, Bluey is her favorite thing right now, she loves everything pink and purple!
