Cynthia Lynne Hooper Cheatham

July 22 1966 - September 12 2025

Cindy Lynne Hooper Cheatham was born on July 22nd 1966. After a 2 year long battle with lung cancer Cindy passed away in her Daytona Beach home on September 12 2025.

She is survived by her husband David, her two children Cameron and Dylan, her mother Linda, and her brother John as well as her father John and stepmother Lynn.

Cindy was born in Nashville Tennessee at Baptist Hospital. She graduated from Hillwood High School. She met her husband David Cheatham while in High School and not long after married him. She worked for many years at Commonwealth insurance until the birth of her second child, upon which she became a stay at home mom. Once both kids were able to be in school she began volunteering in the front office at Rutland Elementary in Mt. Juliet. Not long after she began working in the library at Rutland as the librarian assistant where she could share her love of books and reading. These years at Rutland played such a vital role and shaped her into the woman she became. Cindy stayed at Rutland until both of her children had graduated High School. Cindy Moved to Daytona Beach, Florida in 2016 where she found a love for painting rocks and spreading her kindness to others and lived here until her passing.
