Cindy's obituary

Heaven gained another angel. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia “Cindy” A. (Massey) Butterworth, 72 of North Kingstown, RI, Monday, October 24. Cindy was born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late Albert W. and Margaret (Read) Massey. Cindy is survived by her husband, Barry J. Butterworth, her son, Brenton J. Butterworth and daughter, Alyssa M. Cloutier. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Cameron Cloutier, Collin Butterworth, Gavin Butterworth and Eliza Schaffer.

Cindy was a very giving person and a peacemaker. She was adored by all who met her and she always had a way of making you feel welcome. She was the mom that everyone wished for. Cindy was an owner of Regency Building & Engineering and worked as a realtor for Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams.

Cindy would not want her loved ones to mourn her, but to celebrate her life. In the words of Matthew McConaughey who she loved, “Just keep living!”

Her funeral will be private.
