Cyndi, you are always top of mind when I'm editing. I learned so much from you and value the many lessons I learned from you over the years. You are sorely missed.

So sorry to hear this sad news.  Cindy was a wonderful student, debater/speaker and friend.  My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

Betty May

Cindy's high school debate coach

To the Bemis family:

I am so very sorry for your loss. Cyndi  and I became friends in Jr. High and remained close through high-school, sharing teenage angst, secrets, and crushes. She was exceptionally bright and thoughtful.  We were debate partners for a number of years--a memory I hold dear.

After high school, we mostly lost touch, but then a few years ago she looked me up and made a point to visit me at my home in Idaho. We had a lovely visit, and she told me all about her children and how proud she was of them.

Cyndi was an intelligent,  accomplished, and kind human and will be  deeply missed.

To the Bemis Family,

I knew Cindi during my high school years.

She was on our high school debate team and was a skilled debater.  She was intelligent and quick witted.  She had a smooth, easy-to-listen-to voice.  I think that she could have been quite successful in radio.

I'm surprised how she appears much younger than I.  Perhaps her mother started her 'early' in school? (Probably needed something to occupy little Cindi's busy mind? ;-)

She will be greatly missed.  The world could use 'more' people like Cindi.

To the Bemis Family,

You probably saw this message on FB, but I'll alter it a bit and leave a message here as well. Cyndi was my best friend and a mentor at the Health Dept. She and I were not only co-workers, but we traveled and were both huge American Idol fans together. I also remember struggling financially and after having lost a lot of weight, she personally tailored a lot my clothing, so I didn't have to go out and buy new clothes. That's the kind of person Cyndi was. She also gave me great advice throughout the years that we worked together. I remember telling her that I wanted to be a journalist, but she was adamant that I didn't take that career path because she didn't want to me to have to "sell my soul" to get the good stories. I loved Cyndi and she'll always be that cool big sister I never had. It really breaks my heart that I can't have a good talk with her now, but I'm glad she's at peace. Prayers for your wonderful family.

Though I didn't know Cyndi well, her love for her family and her love for Christ were always apparent when I saw you all in church. May God bring comfort to you all.

Fondly,
Anne Renz

Dave, Sam, and Jack,

I'm so sorry these past few years have been such a challenge for your family. You fought hard for a diagnosis for Cyndi and in spite of the outcome, I believe she managed as well as she did for as long as she did because of your unwavering support.

Since I moved to Utah, I can't remember a time I didn't know Cyndi. From my time as a news reporter at KSL to her "tip" that the Utah Department of Health would be looking for a Public Information Officer. We worked closely together during our time at UDOH and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I will always treasure her memory.

Shared a heart Red heart

My condolences to Cyndi's family. I first met Cyndi at the Utah Department of Health when she was a public information officer (PIO) and I was a PIO liaison. She was the best editor I ever had the pleasure of working with. She always made my documents better. We shared the love of laughter and I enjoyed working with her and sharing stories. She often spoke of her children and it was obvious how much she loved her family. My heart goes out to you.
Dear family and friends - please feel free to share stories of our mom. We would love to hear how you know her or how she impacted your life <3
