Cynthia's obituary

Cynthia Ann Chambery (Cindy), 67, of Lima, New York, passed away unexpectedly on November 9th, 2021.

Cindy was predeceased by her parents, Clifford, Sr. and Joyce Guffey as well as her brother, Clifford Guffey, Jr.  She is survived by her husband John (Jack) Chambery, her sons John Chambery (Kathy) and Jeff Chambery, her sister Karen Gollaher (Rick) and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Have you ever been touched by a beautiful soul? You know, the kind of person that is genuinely kind, caring, a shining light in your day and they just make every fiber in the makeup of who you are okay?

Those who knew Cindy have. So many had the privilege of calling her either wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin or friend. When you were in her presence, or if she was in your thoughts - You were at peace. She was positive and gentle. Her energy was radiant and completely contagious – A person could not help but gravitate toward her.

Cindy acted from a place of love in all things. She was a giver by nature. She was your best friend rooting you on and was there for you in every aspect of life. She rocked a sense of humor that would have you in fits of uncontrollable laughter. People could not help but smile when they were around her.

Tragically, Cindy was taken suddenly from our lives  - It is unbelievable that she is no longer cracking a joke, spoiling someone, or simply sitting and enjoying her time with her family and friends, or all her beloved woodland and sky creatures.

Cindy, who was taken from us to soon, will forever and always be a person we should aspire to be like. She was pure radiant sunshine, a beautiful soul and now our shimmering star. She will be greatly missed.

Cindy’s family appreciates the love and support we have received during this difficult time. We have continuously seen the outpouring of love from all those she held dear to her heart and the many she impacted while she walked this earth.

Rest easy, Sunshine…Until it’s our time for you to guide us home.
