Cynthia "Cindy" Brown, age 67, passed away peacefully at Lynchburg General Hospital on February 22, 2023. Cindy was born in Baltimore and grew up in Lutherville, Maryland she had also spent time living in California, Pennsylvania and most recently Bedford, Virginia. If you knew Cindy, you knew she had a huge heart and would help anyone if she could. In her younger years she grew up spending her summers at Maryland Yacht Club where her family had a boat on A Pier. Cindy spent many years working for A&P corporation in the IT department until they went out of business when she retired . Cindy loved to dance and enjoyed the sounds of great artist like Van Morrison. Cindy also enjoyed the beach, the smell of salt air and steamed crabs would always guarantee a smile. Cindy’s plants were her babies, she had an amazing green thumb. Cindy also loved her coffee all day long! 

She is predeceased by her parents Joseph Anthony Brown Sr. and Clara Mae Brown (Ehman), her brother William Ehman Brown and survived by her brother Joseph Anthony Brown Jr., her niece Jennifer Lynn Babcock and her husband John, great niece, Chelsea Babcock, great nephews, Joshua Babcock and Jacob Babcock. In memoriam, we will be having a celebration of her life at a later time and will post it in the spring.
