Cynthia A.'s obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Cynthia A. Hanson, a beloved mother, sister, and daughter. Cynthia was born in 1964 and departed from us on January 1, 2026. Though no longer with us, Cynthia’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched, her warm compassion, and the love she shared.
Cynthia’s personality was as radiant as a summer's day. She was caring, friendly, and wonderfully talkative. Her life’s mantra was simple yet impactful - to enjoy life. This attitude colored every interaction she had, making her an absolute joy to be around. Apart from her vibrant character, her role as a mother was one of her most treasured identities. Her greatest achievement, as she often expressed, was raising her children.
She is survived by her cherished family. Her father, ZD Jr. Cooper, her brothers, Stephen and Jeffrey Cooper, her son, Danny Nance, and her daughters, Natalie Farris and Elizabeth Hanson, one grandchild, one nephew, one niece, many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Darrell Hanson, who she missed dearly and often spoke of with affection. Her family mourns her loss, but finds peace in the love and warmth Cynthia poured into their lives.
One of Cynthia’s simple pleasures was her love for dogs. She was often seen in the company of her furry companions, their loyalty and joy reflecting her own spirit.
In memory of Cynthia, we ask those who knew her to honor her memory by living as she did — with a caring heart, a friendly smile, and an eagerness to enjoy life’s every moment. Her memory will remain a beacon of warmth and love for to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
