Background
LaMancha Animal Rescue, established in 2001, has been a sanctuary for over 10,000 animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, goats, horses, and even the occasional exotic animal. Operating as a no-kill rescue on a 45-acre facility, LaMancha provides a haven for animals that require more space or specialized knowledge than most SPCAs can offer. Cyndy Nelson held LaMancha Animal Rescue close to her heart, deeply valuing its mission to provide a safe haven for animals in need. Her beloved dog, Rocky, was adopted from LaMancha, and Cyndy often spoke of the joy and companionship that her pets brought into her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to LaMancha Animal Rescue in Cyndy's honor, ensuring that her legacy of compassion continues to support the animals she cared so deeply about.
