We mournfully announce the passing of Curtiss A. Mainville, 65, of Simsbury CT. He passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. Curtiss, born to Charles and Eileen Mainville of Simsbury CT, took his first breath on March 5, 1956. He was a force to be reckoned with from the get go. He graduated from Simsbury High School in 1974 and soon after enlisted in the United States Army where he was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division. Curtiss was honorably discharged from the United States Army on August 17, 1981. He lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. His family meant more to him than words could describe. Curtiss spent much of his time tinkering and helping others. Through self teaching, he was a true jack of all trades who was always willing to lend a hand. He was well known for his humorous ways. Curtiss will be missed dearly but will never be forgotten. A wake will be held at 991 Hopmeadow St. Simsbury Ct. Valley Lodge 36 on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family.
