Curtis's obituary

Curtis Lynn Thompson, 63, went home to be with our Lord and Savior peacefully surrounded by family on July 27, 2022.  Curtis was born February 24, 1959 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He married his wife Kesia Thompson on October 24, 1987 on a small yacht with an intimate service in Jacksonville, Florida.  Together they built a beautiful loving close family and shared so many wonderful life adventures.  Curtis is known for  his top competitive bass fisherman skills,  true family man, an amazing Dad, and everyone he met was "His friend".  He could brighten everyone's day with his beaming positive personality and inviting smile.  Curtis used his fishing as a witness tool to share the gospel.  Curtis worked for Ring Power Corporation for 43 years. He made a life long career in Power Systems Division as an EPG Senior Sales Consultant and loved CAT.  His passion was bass fishing, making baits/lures and calling his family members everyday to check up on them.  Curtis is survived and so loved by his wife, Kesia Thompson; three children -  Travis Thompson (Arden Thompson), Tanner Thompson and Gracie Thompson; mother Bertina Myers (CK Myers); father Don Thompson (Linda Thompson); and brother Kevin Thompson (Krissy Thompson); and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

There will be a service held for Curtis Thompson on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at 11:00 am at Bell Shoals Church -2102 Bell Shoals Rd., Brandon, Fl. 33511 with Pastor Gary Payne officiating.  Those attending are welcome to come to a Barbecue luncheon after the service in the SEC at Bell Shoals Church for a time of fellowship.
