1990, Operation Desert Storm
After Fort Gordan Ga. and some leave time Curt was station in Ansbach Germany.  While he was there, 1990 his unit the 1st Armored Division was deployed for Operation Desert Storm.  He had his 21st birthday during that time.  He told his mom he had a new appreciation of those who gave service before him.

1970, Curt's Grandparents Wurtland Ky

Curt's paternal Grandfather and Grandmother , I apologize for not mentioning them earlier. They loved him very much and when he and I would talk about them, I had photos of him and his Grandfather, one that comes to mind is when he was less than a year old. Curt look so small in his arms.  Both of them cared deeply for him and he knew this.

1988, Fort Gordon, Augusta, GA, USA
Curt's Grandmother wanted to see him so we drove to Fort Gordan and that was when we learned his Grandfather did WWII training there.  He told his Grandmother it made him feel closer to him.  Curt was a kind considerate person who loved his Grandmother very much.
