It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Curtis Johnson, a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, who left us too soon on April 24, 2026, at the age of 43.
Born on November 20, 1982, Curtis lived life to the fullest. He was a man of incredible passion and commitment, known for his warmth, wit, and bluntness. He never shied away from expressing his opinions, always staying true to his beliefs and values.
Curtis poured his heart and soul into volunteer work at the Little League Baseball service organization. His love for sports was infectious, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Rays being his favorite teams. He loved playing cornhole and had an impressive record, winning the local tournament at Beef O Brady's for three consecutive months. An accomplished sportsman, he enjoyed baseball, MMA, Jiu Jitsu, and boxing to keep fit.
Fun and recreation were equally important to Curtis. He loved spending time outdoors, playing baseball, or fishing on the water. When it came to cuisine, he had a special love for seafood.
As a man of substance and depth, Curtis was deeply committed to his son's little league team. He believed that everyone could achieve great things if they set their minds to it, and this was a lesson he passed onto his children, Aiden and Grace.
