Curtis's obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Curtis Oldham from illness, on November 15, 2025.
Born on February 11, 1973, Curtis was a longtime resident of Burlington, Iowa before moving south to the Atlanta area. Having family and friends in both places, the number of people who will mourn and grieve his absence is so heartbreakingly large.
Curtis is survived by his wife; his children, Dayton (Nick and Ellianna) Leazer and KeeShon Oldham; his brother Sean (and Michele) Oldham; his sisters, Kari Foutch (Aaron Briegleb) and Kelly (and Andrew) Lawler, and his mother, Cathi Britt. Curt is also survived many cousins, nieces and nephews, and so many more.
He was preceded in death by his son, CJ Oldham and his father and mother, Richard and Denise Oldham, as well as his grandparents.
Curtis was a great friend to many. An avid sports enthusiast, Curtis was a die-hard fan of the Raiders, a team he supported with unwavering loyalty. His love for sports extended to being an amateur commentator, offering his unique perspective on every game! His favorite TV Shows were often sports-related and he believed strongly in the three food groups: Steak, Wings and Ribs.
In addition to his love for sports and grilling, Curtis also enjoyed golfing with family and friends. His vibrant personality, steadfast friendship, and undying love for sports will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. We take comfort in knowing that his love for his family and friends will live on through his survivors.
May his soul rest in peace.
