It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Curt Royal, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. His transition from this life occurred on January 13, 2025. Born on July 16 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. He lived a full and vibrant life, touching the lives of those around him.

Curt is lovingly remembered by his wife, Gail Royal; his children, Sean Royal and wife Jessica Holland, Shannon Wille, Shane Royal, Bonnie Wood with husband Dennis Wood; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Jori Nelson and husband Nick Nelson, Madeline Wille with Drew Thompson, Hannah Wood with Sean Maggard, Dawson Wood and Ethan Wood, great grandson Osiris Maggard. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Curt was a profound member of the church, 4 year Navy veteran serving on The Pocono and The Hermitage from 1965-1969, he enjoyed restoring his 1957 Chevy Bel Air, spending time with his precious cats, enjoyed traveling across the country and spending his retirement in Branson with his loving wife.

Curt's life was marked by resilience, compassion, and a deep love for his family. Even in his absence, his spirit continues to live on through his loved ones. His memory will be cherished by his family and those fortunate enough to have known him.
