Curt Hoverman passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2024, at the age of 83, with his wife by his side. Curt was born and raised in New Jersey, where he established a successful landscape and nursey business. Curt was exceptionally talented at all things related to landscaping – the design, the implementation, and the maintenance of a delightful range of exquisite trees and plants. He never lost his love of landscaping, and everywhere he lived, he added beauty to the land. His artful designs took careful account of the natural elements in the surroundings and integrated them with aesthetic appeal. Curt married the love of his life, Kristie Lewis, and they were together until the moment of his passing. They shared everything, including the landscaping business in which Kristie played a significant role. Along with their two sons, they enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, boating, and other outdoor activities. In their later years, they retired to New Hampshire and eventually to Ocala, Florida. With an adventurous spirit, Curt and Kristie also spent many years exploring our nation in their RV. In addition to Kristie, Curt is survived by his two sons of whom Curt was very proud, Bruce of Reno, NV, and Craig, of Tinton Falls, NJ. Curt is also survived by his sister Gail Hechtle of Center Conway, N.H., and his brother Richard, of Bonita Springs, FL. At his request, Curt was cremated, and his immediate family had a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
