Cruz's obituary

Cruz, Pompa Jr. age 88. Cruz is survived by his wife of 66 years, Josephine Pompa and daughters, Glenda McKinney and Yvette Pompa. He served with great honor in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was a wonderful provider to his wife and family and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Cruz worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 33 fantastic years! He fought several forest fires and operated the heavy equipment. He proudly wore his green uniform everyday and believed in his boss, Smokey the Bear. Cruz enjoyed nature; birds chirping, squirrels running, and hummingbirds on the front porch. He also loved the ocean and the sound of the waves. His favorite saying was "Hello - Good-bye." We will all miss him everyday of our lives.
