Background
As we continue to process the loss of our father, Craseem Walker, we—his children—have begun planning a Celebration of Life to honor and remember him. Per our father’s final wishes, he chose to be cremated, and we are grateful to have had those wishes carried out with care by the wonderful team at Monarch Cremation, a part of Hutchens Funeral Home in Florissant, Missouri. In the near future, we hope to gather with family and friends to share stories, memories, laughter, and the moments that made him who he was to so many of us.
Our hope is to create a day where the people who knew and loved him can come together, reflect on his life, and celebrate the memories that will continue to live on through us, his children, as well as through family and friends. Though he is no longer physically with us, the love and memories he leaves behind will always remain.
If anyone feels moved to help, donations toward the cost of the Celebration of Life would be deeply appreciated. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help us create a meaningful gathering in his memory. Any remaining funds after the expenses for the celebration will be donated to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance in his honor to support Colon Cancer awareness, research, and families affected by colorectal cancer.
