Craig's obituary

Craig S. Pierce, 74, of Woodstock, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Northwestern Hospital in Huntley.

He was born in Woodstock on May 10, 1951 to Theodore and Emma (Korslin) Pierce. He married Diane Voight at the First Presbyterian Church in Woodstock on November 4, 1972.

Craig worked as a Floor Manager at Bohn´s Ace Hardware. He also served as an EMT for the Woodstock Rescue Squad for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors and really loved tending to flowers and watching birds. He was an avid rock collector and enthusiast. But, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 Years, Diane Pierce; his daughter, Jodi (Danny) Roach; his son, Jonathan (Amy) Pierce; eight grandchildren, Danny Jr., Edmond (Patience), Taylor, Autumn, Madelynn, Audrey, Dominick, and Sophia; and two great grandchildren, Cordeliah, and Keanu.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave. in Woodstock. Interment will be at McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock.
