Craig's obituary

Craig Hardrick, 55, of Deltona, Florida, passed away on October 8, 2025. Born on August 29, 1970, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Craig lived a life marked by devotion to family and a steadfast commitment to those around him.

He was the beloved husband of Tabatha Vaughn-Hardrick. Together, they shared a life filled with quiet joys—working on puzzles and planning family adventures. Craig took great pride in his role as a father and grandfather. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Alexa King and her husband Dylan, Kariden Hardrick, and Sienna Grace Hardrick and his grandchildren, Jackson and Milena.

Craig was the cherished son of Cynthia Hardrick and the late Luck Hardrick. He was predeceased by his grandmother Gloria Schilling; brothers Albert Hardrick, Aaron Hardrick, and Harlen Hardrick; nephew Keough Collins; and niece Marquisa Guest.

He is also remembered by his siblings: Cedrick Hardrick; Travis Hardrick; Lincoln Hardrick; Mary Patti Moye; Cathy Hardrick; Cheryl Hardrick; and Theresa Hardrick Gordon. His extended family recalls him as a quiet presence with a generous heart who consistently put others before himself.

A graduate of Holyoke High School in Holyoke, MA, Craig continued his education at UMass Amherst. Throughout his life, he remained grounded in the values of loyalty, humility, and service instilled during his upbringing.

Craig found joy in simple pleasures—cooking meals for loved ones, watching sports with enthusiasm, and offering help whenever it was needed. Whether organizing family outings or supporting others through difficult times, he was unwavering in his care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at El Mercado Local, 413 Main Street.

May Craig’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of love’s enduring strength.
