Craig's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of Mr. Craig Fountaine, born on April 6, 1960, and passed away on June 29, 2023. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he enriched the lives of those around him with his kindness, generosity, and enchanting charisma.
Craig is survived by his adoring wife, Carol Fountaine, his doting son Craig Fountaine, his loving daughter Twonia Appleby, and his grandsons, Christopher Appleby and Armon Fountaine. Craig was predeceased by his father, James Fountaine. His kind spirit and joyous presence will be greatly missed.
A true connoisseur of life's simple pleasures, Craig reveled in the enjoyment of his favorite foods, of which fried chicken was the most beloved. Coke was his drink of choice and he had a keen appreciation for vintage television, particularly black and white movies. He was an ardent fan of vampire movies and jazz music, with Bony James being his preferred artist. A proud supporter of the Green Bay Packers, he enjoyed the Spade card game and was often found cheering on basketball matches.
Always active, Craig enjoyed recreational swimming and walking, which also served as his preferred method of exercise. His favored holiday destination was Alabama, and he often indulged in local football events. Driven by a warm heart, he was passionate about helping underprivileged children and those in foster care. His favorite color was vibrant yellow, reflecting his sunny disposition and joyful character.
Remembered for his warm and sexy aura, Craig always appeared content and very nice. He believed in trusting God, a lesson he shared with those around him. His legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. His wife Carol fondly remembers him, "I love and miss you Craig, always your loving wife."
