Craig's obituary

Craig Filion, age 69, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025. Born on November 25, 1955, Craig was known for his warm, fun-loving personality, dedication to friendships, and genuine enjoyment of life's simple pleasures. He made friends easily and maintained close relationships that lasted throughout his lifetime.

Craig had a great love for golfing and spent many enjoyable hours on the course. He loved being part of his bowling league, which he shared with dear friends and his partner, Susan Peterson. Vacationing in Hawaii was one of Craig's greatest joys, allowing him time to relax, golf, and enjoy his favorites—pineapple and beer. Craig was also a lifelong lover of dogs, and always enjoyed their company.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia Filion; his life partner, Susan; stepchildren, Josh and Whitney Oats; and niece, Jerrica Kostis. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Karsten Filion; sister, Michon Filion; brother, Gary Filion; and father, Lester Filion.

A celebration of Craig's life will be held by family and friends, comforted by the knowledge that he is now reunited with loved ones who passed before him, especially his cherished son, Karsten who passed away three years ago. Craig will be remembered fondly for his kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about. We will miss him dearly. If you have any photos of Craig that you would be willing to share, please upload them into this google drive folder -  https://drive.google.com/driv… hope to see you at Craig's funeral service and celebration of life on Friday, April 4th.
