Courtney's obituary

On March 4, 2022, Court Packer passed away peacefully at the age of 84 in Midlothian, VA where he resided. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann, daughters Kathleen and Patricia (Robert) and his son James (Kristi) and four wonderful grandchildren, Preston, Ian, Ethan and Abbey; brother Thurston (Joan) Packer and their three daughters, Lorrie, Karen and Beth. He is predeceased by his parents Harold and Irene (Baker) Packer and stepfather Dr. D.U. Gould.

From 1957 to 1959 Court was a photographer for the United States Army and was stationed in Germany and France.

After Court and Mary Ann were married in 1963, they lived in Schenectady and Macedon but ultimately settled in Webster, NY, where he had a long career with Xerox.

In 2003 Court joined the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Webster, NY. He enjoyed history, photography, stock car racing, long distance bicycle rides, old cars and had a varied taste in music. He could be found working on cars, taking photos, enjoying his kids concerts and sporting events.

He was very involved in Scouting and also played bass drum with the C.A. Palmer Fife & Drum Corp, the Fairport Fireman’s Marching Band, Webster Village Band and the Pittsford Fireman’s Marching Band.

A small family gathering was held in his honor.
