Background
This fundraiser seems surreal. Just days ago Courtney was here with us and sharing her amazing heart, her contagious laugh and her passion for life with all who knew her. The world lost a bright light. Courtney's husband, Jay lost his beautiful bride. Amaya is two years old and lost her mommy. Courtney's mother lost her daughter, siblings lost their sister, and her best friends lost a friendship that bonded then like sisters. We know that Courtney is singing and dancing in heaven, and for that our hearts are so thankful. She's probably filling heaven with her laughter as we speak. We also know that no amount of money can fill the hole that is left in our hearts but assisting Jay and Amaya with these additional expenses will, without a doubt, bring some relief to this hurting family.
