Cortney "Mr.Rapper Wings" Green Sr.,39, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on November 04, 2022.
Cortney was born on August 23, 1983, the second son to Edward and Gwendolyn Green of West Palm Beach. He grew up listening to an array of music and watching movies with his brothers, he was even able to develop a great sense of humor and love for music. After graduating from Palm Beach Lakes high school in 2001; he went on to study electrical engineering at Devry in Orlando, FL.
Cortney, later inherited his dad’s lawn service and learned everything from irrigation systems to lawn treatments. He became a young father and he went on to have a total of six children, Courtney Green Jr. Terrance Green, Corey Green, Kourtney Green, Jahsai Green and Jacoby Green . Cortney was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of all his kids and always tried his best to support them.
Cortney was also passionate about cooking so much so he launched his signature “Rapper Wings” company nearly tens ago. Cortney also rapped under monikers such as Sr Verde, “Green two6” and Mr. Two-six where he made various songs as well as videos to promote his rap career when he wasn’t at home. Anyone who knew Cortney knew that he was always smiling and showing his mouth full of gold teeth. He absolutely adored his mother Gwen as she encouraged him to follow his dreams.
Cortney was predeceased by his father Edward Green Sr. and his mother Gwendolyn Green. Paternal grandparents Athell and Lizzie Lou Green as well as his maternal grandparents Everette and Mary Sapp. His aunts Lisa Sapp, Yvette Sapp, and Robyn Robinson. His uncles Demetrius Green and Ronald Green. He’s survived by his uncles Forrest Sapp, Alvin Green, Athell Green, Irvin Green, and Craig Green. His surviving aunts are Andrea Zeigler, Judy Sapp, Wendel Bethel, and Delores Watts. His surviving siblings are Edward Green II (Carmesha) of Orlando, FL. Anthony Green, Sr of Orlando Fl. De’Andre Morgan Sr. of West Palm Beach Fl. William Green, of Albany Ga.,Micheal Ferguson of Riviera Beach FL, and Regina Green,(Alicia) of S. Korea. Cortney is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins that he truly loved.

Australian Ave on 18 November NLT 3pm. Additionally, there will be a 1-hour public viewing and funeral service this Friday beginning at 1pm. Bell & Clark Chapel located at 3900 Broadway Ave WPB, FL 33407. The burial will be held at Glenwood Memorial Cemetery located at 1233 W 6th Riviera Beach FL 33404.
