Cornelia's obituary

Cornelia Faye Coleman, 75, of Sullivan, Illinois passed away at 7:59 pm on Monday October 10, 2022 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 15 from 10-11 am at Windsor Baptist Church, 404 S Pine St., Windsor, with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following. Burial will be at a later date in Minier Cemetery, Minier, IL.

Cornelia was born on September 13, 1947 in Lincoln, Illinois, the daughter of Ray and Eunice Crabtree. Cornelia was a long-term resident of Sullivan Rehabilitation and Health Care Center where she had many friends and caregivers that loved her and worked hard to make her feel at home.

Cornelia is survived by her sister Alberta Johnson of Minier, daughter Cindy Purkes of Bethany and son Wayne (Jill) Snearly of Findlay, Grandchildren Tara (DJ) Jones and Roy Wayne (Jenee) Purkes of Bethany, Michael (Emma) Snearly of Decatur, and Lauren (Ryan) Moore of Lerna, as well as great-grandchildren that she loved to brag on: Qinten, James, Luke, Charlotte, Roy, Lydia, Kellan, Caroline Faye and Easton and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son-in-law Roy Purkes.
