Corinne's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Corinne "Corky" Schlissel-Eskenazi on August 9, 2025. Born on March 31, 1957, Corinne, affectionately known as Corky, leaves behind an indelible legacy marked by love, laughter, and strength.
Corinne lived her life with a blend of humor and tenacity that drew everyone close to her. She was dynamic, embodying hilarious, fierce, loving, sarcastic, and kooky in the most delightful way. Her laughter and sharp wit uplifted all those around her, adding a vibrant hue to the canvas of life.
She was a loving, caring soul. And through her actions and mannerism, she imparted a priceless lesson on how to love unconditionally, instilling in her loved ones the courage to be compassionate, kind, and empathetic. She was a beacon of love and care, her heart as vast as the universe, always ready to embrace those in need. Her love for animal rescue saved hundreds of animals in her lifetime
To her daughters, Tamar and Judi, Corinne was not just a mother but a best friend, a mentor, and a pillar of strength. Her loss has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts, but the memories we created with her will forever remain, keeping her spirit alive in us.
A funeral service to celebrate Corinne's remarkable life will be held on August 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries. All those whose lives were touched by Corinne are welcome to share in the mourning of our loss and the celebration of her life.
In lieu of flowers, we request donations in her memory to "Shelter Chic", a cause close to her heart. Contributions can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of….
Corinne's legacy is indeed beautiful. Her life was a testament to the power of love, humor, and resilience. It is a legacy that we will honor, celebrate, and seek to emulate in our own lives.
