Background
I am Corey's mother I currently live out of state in Louisiana and he was in California. I learned the news that my son had passed away via a family member. This took me by surprise, as he was only 53 years old. It is reported that he was hit by a train and passed away from his injuries. So in this uneventful time I do not have funds to raise for a cremation, which will cost $1,600. I know a lot of people will look at this and say that's not a lot of money. But, I am 85 years old, on a fixed income and there was no insurance coverage on my son. So I'm here now asking if the funds can be raised for proper burial. The money will be used for cremation.
