Heaven has gained another angel in Corrie - As her friend and next-door neighbor in the 1970's I was awestruck by the way she met and loved Dick so deeply, and stepped in to help raise his daughters as if they were her own.  Her love for him and his family knew no bounds. And then to be blessed in their life with two more wonderful daughters!!

Having known Corrie before she met Dick I was deeply aware of how finding her home in this family would have been her life's ultimate blessing.

To all the Makos girls - I'm so glad to have found Mimi's Facebook post and so sorry to hear about Corrie.  Lori Pilcher and I were so blessed to have had her as a friend and neighbor and I've been trying to find her and get back in touch for some time.  Corrie was my hairdresser back when I lived on LaJolla Drive in Tempe, and I INTRODUCED HER TO DICK.  It was fun to see their wedding photo, which included Lori and me in the wedding party!!  I will share this information with Lori when I see her.  Thanks to all of you for these beautiful photos and memories.
