Dearest Stephanie, Scott, Spencer and Fritzie,
I have had a candle burning for Cooper and for all of you on my mantle (in Taos) this week. I have hoped to find words, but still not there. Deeply sorrowful. Praying for all.
I have communicated with Stephanie, but wanted to speak to the rest of the family to say:
I am here for all/any of you, and know you are welcome to come to New Mexico to rest and simply “be”, whenever you’d like…. You will have a welcoming and peaceful place to stay. (Barbara loved it here. )
With much love, ❤️

Cooper was my grandson Christian's funny, delightful friend who always stood out in a crowd. He was such a happy and fun person. Our family's hearts are broken. We will miss him.

A highly spirited fearless young man with a huge zest for life. That is the Cooper we love and will forever hold close to our hearts. May Coopers memory be a blessing. Rest in peace sweet boy. Love the Howard family.

Steph, as a mother who has faced this dreadful fear for many years, my heart is with you and your family now and forever. Struggling as he did, still his life was a blessing. We will all keep him in our hearts.

Dear Stephanie, Scott, Spencer & Fritze ~
No words from us will heal this hurt or restore the loss of your beautiful Cooper.
We so appreciate and are grateful for our interactions with Cooper. His humor, insights, curiosity, perspectives, and astute awareness were always about being present with us in the moment—moments we will always remember and cherish.
With deepest sympathy, care, concern, and love -

Sending love and peace at this time of immeasurable heartbreak. Your beautiful family is in our thoughts and sorry we cannot join in the paddle out ceremony to honor Cooper in such a meaningful way.
