Consuelo was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico in 1930. Consuelo met the love of her life Jose Diaz in Arecibo. They married in December 1951. Consuelo had 6 children: Wilson (1953), Emma (1954), Nelson (1956), William (1957), Alejandro (1958) and Eva (1959). Consuelo was blessed with 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. All of which she adored with all her heart.

Consuelo was a devoted Catholic. She was loving, understanding, kind, and caring. Her sense of humor was contagious. Her passion for life inspiring. Consuelo enjoyed music and dancing, she danced like no one was watching.

Consuelo was an artisan and a crochet teacher, with needle in hand she made countless friends. All who met Consuelo loved her. She was very giving with her crafts and words of encouragement.

Consuelo's life journey ended peacefully in her home in Gilbert, AZ on February 10, 2023. She was surrounded by love, family and friends.

Thanks for being a living example of fortitude and love. You will be sorely missed by all who knew you.
