Constance Louis Shackelford Klinzman passed away on February 8, 2023, in Royal Oak, Michigan. She was surrounded by her loving family and best friend Vicki Jo. 

Connie was kind, generous, and well-loved in her community. Her family was number one to Connie, especially her two boys whom she loved above all else.  It was important for her to try to spread joy and happiness in any way she could to others. She loved all creatures but had a soft spot for horses. Being able to attend the Kentucky Derby when the Shackleford horse ran was one of her greatest joys.

Connie is survived by her companion of 15 years, Marcello Crescentini, her sons Brandon Brando (Robert Hausz), and Cameron Klinzman, sisters Deborah S Yocom (Bob), and Gail Shackelford, brother Cary Shackelford (Jodi), and mother Waynette Pennell.  She also leaves behind 3 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 great-nephews, 1 great-niece, and many many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be had in Louisville, Kentucky later in the spring. The date will be decided at a later time.
