My name is June and I met Connie when we were working at Lawyers Title in Troy. I was searching for her as I am looking for a realtor and was so sad to find her obituary. We were friends for several years and I enjoyed her company at many lunch dates. Also met her sons on several occasions. Will always remember her! My condolences to her family.
Connie was my sister. We were close as children, but grew apart for a while with marriages and raising children. We reconnected as older adults and once again grew very close. We fought, made up, and took many sister trips together. Our last trip was to Hilton Head and we had the best time and were so happy. I will always cherish that memory. Even though most of Connie's family and friends knew her personal struggles, we also knew she dearly loved all of her family and would do anything in her power for them. I do, and will always, miss you deeply Connie. Sister Power all the way!
We worked together In 1976 under Sharon and Gordon Jones at The Lakes Apartments. I thought about her everyday. Last time we were together with our family was in Detroit. I have looked for you on internet for you for years. I am grateful for the 10 years we saw each other face to face. Ocean shores Puyallup fair Florida. I was blessed to have you in my life. May you be in the arms of Jesus.
