Constance's obituary

Constance I. "Connie" Greene, left the confines of earth at the age of 73 on June 17, 2021.

She was born on September 19, 1947 in Lewiston, Maine.  The second youngest of 5 children born to Canadian immigrants, Wilfrid and Cecile Antonette Cote Blais.

Connie graduated from Scituate High School in Rhode Island and upon completion started a career in the automotive industry. She spent the better part of 30+ years with Banner Oldsmobile-Buick-GMC Truck in South Kingstown, RI where she was promoted to service manager. Upon retiring she moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and for the past 15+ years she has been enjoying the “golden years” of her life with friends new and old and frequent visits with family near and far.

Surviving family include her husband, John P. Greene; children, Gregory Joyce, Shane Manzi, Patrick Manzi, Teri Cehelsky, Sara King, John J Greene and; brother, Loui Joseph Blais; sisters, Jackie Speicher and Claudette Ferguson; and grandchildren, Michael and Ava Joyce, Nicholas and Jackson Cehelsky, Madison, Emma and Cloe King and Patrick and Brittney Manzi, . She is predeceased by one sister, Claire Curtin and two nephews, Scott Speicher and Mark "Marky" Curtin .

A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church located at 65 3rd St, East Greenwich, RI 02818.

A reception will follow the memorial service at East Greenwich Fireman’s Hall located at 80 Queen St, East Greenwich, RI 02818
