Connor's obituary

Connor Michael Callahan, A Life Vibrant and Unfinished

Connor Michael Callahan, 24, born to this world on March 14, 2000 passed away unexpectedly on May 23rd 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Connor was always thinking of others and his last wish was to be an organ donor, and because of his big heart, three amazing people got a second chance at life. Connor brought a radiant energy to the world that will be deeply missed.

Connor's spirit was as adventurous as it was kind. He was known for his optimism, creativity and a contagious smile. Whether it was traveling the world, speaking a different language, fixing cars, photographing, scuba diving, golfing or simply spending time with loved ones, Connor embraced life with an enthusiasm that touched everyone around him.

Connor is survived by his loving parents, Su Yong Paek and Michael Callahan and cherished siblings, Stephanie Wilson and Albert Callahan. A void is left in the hearts of his many friends and extended family.

Committed to contributing to a cause he believed in, Connor enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He found value in service to his country while also working towards a college degree to pursue his dreams.

A celebration of Connor’s life will be held on June 30, 2024 at 4pm-7pm in Long Island City. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Herren Project.

Connor was a short gift to all of us and his light may have dimmed too soon, but the warmth of his spirit will forever burn bright in the hearts of those who loved him so deeply.
