Connie Lynn Stockton
August 29, 1956 – June 14, 2023
Connie Lynn Stockton passed away on June 14, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Her strength and courage will always be an inspiration to her family. Connie was born August 29, 1956, in Deming ,NM, to Walter Janecka and Beth Stephens, both preceded her in death. Connie married Donald Stockton on November 8, 1979. Three children survive her, Jason Stockton (Bonnie) and 4 grandsons. Todd Stockton, Shane Stockton (Spencer), and 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons.
Connie is survived by three sisters, Vicki Purcell of Roswell, NM, Judy Sanders of Leander, TX, and Tami Spencer of Lubbock, TX. She is survived by 4 brothers, Kenneth Janecka of Payson, AZ, Randy Stephens of Fort Worth, TX, Buddy Stephens of Roswell, NM, and Billy Stephens of Lubbock, TX. Connie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie worked at Wal-Mart from September of 1987, until she retired in 2018 due to her illness. Connie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Connie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Connie loved to watch her grandchildren play sports especially baseball. Connie loved fishing with Don and their grandchildren.
A memorial will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at The Church at Benbrook. 930 Winscott Rd. Benbrook, Texas 76126.
Flowers can be delivered to The Church at Benbrook on Tuesday June 20th between the hours of 9AM and 4 PM otherwise they can be sent to Don and Connie’s home at 103 Hillgard Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76108
Mary Poppins Balloon and Flowers in White Settlement is a local shop Don and Connie have used for years.
