Connie's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Connie Sobotka, age 74, of Alliance, who passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Connie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Sobotka, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. She is survived by her cherished son, Matthew Sobotka, and her treasured grandchildren, Brock and Blakely, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
Connie also leaves behind her loving sister, Carol Mattachione, and her dear brothers, Paul Endrizz and Frank Endrizz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Endrizz.
A proud and active member of the Alliance community, Connie worked for many years as an administrative assistant at both Alliance High School and Regina Coeli Catholic School. In these roles, she was known for her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for the students and staff she supported. Her dedication, attention to detail, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with her.
Beyond her work, Connie will be remembered for her compassion, resilience, and the deep love she poured into her family and friends.
Honoring her wishes no funeral service or visitation will be held at this time.
Though she is no longer with us in presence, Connie’s legacy lives on — in her family, in the countless lives she touched through her work and friendships, and in the loving memories that will remain in our hearts forever.
