Connie Smith was called home on November 15, 2021, at the age of 63. She was taken all too soon by a massive stroke.
Connie was a devoted wife and mother who loved being with her family.
Connie was born on July 12, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was adopted by Gunnar and Margareta Andersson in 1962, and later sealed to them as a forever family in the Salt Lake Temple.
Connie married Kim Koelliker in 1975, and they were later divorced.
She married Bruce W. Smith August 29, 1991. Bruce and Connie enjoyed a strong bond of love as they enjoyed over 30 years together.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, E. Gunnar Andersson (2005) and Margareta Eriksson Andersson (1994). She is survived by her husband Bruce and children: Robert Koelliker, Dustin and Sara Smith, Tami Koelliker, Gary Petersen, Misti Smith and nine grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, David Andersson.
The family is grateful for the loving care of dedicated ICU care providers at the IHC Medical Center in Murray, Utah during her brief stay there.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday December 4, 2021, at the Mountain Shadows 7th Ward Meetinghouse, 7903 South 2700 West, West Jordan, Utah. Cremation service was performed by Utah Simple Cremations.
