I loved her art work, her love for music. We had the same treble clef on ( necklace)when I met her And we chatted about music for a long time. I wish we would have sang more together . I loved her distinct laugh and her way about her. I loved all of her stories about life and how much Jesus love was around her. I loved her smile and the way she loved everyone around her with her whole heart. My friend and Warrior Irish woman Connie you will be truly missed. You touched so many lives all around you.

I remember going to Stockton to visit the family. Connie and I would be together the whole time. We'd walk to the little store by grandma's and she'd always say we should bring grandma an ice cream bar... I remember her being so excited to work at the potato plant. She loved it. She was an Idahoan at heart . Every time we went to the bars it was guaranteed she'd be up there singing. She lived like she had no fear. I knew that wasn't true, she had her fears like all of us, she just fought them . Sometimes they won but mostly she did. You kids definitely got alot of her spirit.. your very lucky..
I remember when I was 9 and my world was falling apart, this little girl named Nicole walked or (maybe followed) me home a few times, insisting that I should come over to her house and play. Of course, quiet little me, had too many secrets to keep, so I made one excuse after another, but the day I said yes, was one of the best decisions of my life. That day I met a family full of song and love, in the midst chaos, and I knew I had found a second home. Connie never turned me away, she was full of laughter, fun, and music. She is the reason I can sing myself out of a mood. I can remember her eyes dancing as she would tell me about anything she was excited about. We didn't need a radio around in an hour long car ride because Connie would drum along to whatever song was in her heart and chat jovially about everything. She would say "Turn that frown upsidedown!" Whenever a sour puss crossed her path. Connie taught me to understand that you can be a mother and a friend, a balance I use with my own children. I can still hear her beautiful voice and see her powerful presence when I close my eyes. Connie always welcomed me home with loving arms. I am so grateful for all that she was and count myself blessed to be raised with the Sass Family.
With all my love,
Until we meet again,
Brandi Burnam

Connie introduced me to Robert and because of her we have three beautiful daughters. I will always remember Connie as a warm and loving friend with great hugs. Her eyes would light up a room and she loved sharing her voice and love of music. Your friends and family will miss you. ❤️
