🌸 In Loving Memory of Connie Black McCoy 🌸

March 17, 1963 – June 6, 2025

Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Connie Black McCoy, 62, of Peach Bottom, PA. Connie passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2025, in Lancaster, PA.

Connie lived a life full of compassion, joy, and quiet strength. She was a devoted spouse, a loving mother, a treasured grandmother and great grandmother, whose gentle spirit and kind heart touched everyone she met.

Connie was born March 17th, 1963 along side her twin brother Ronnie Black. She was the baby out of eight other siblings. She loved and was loved by all her bothers and sisters. Connie liked to call herself a “Flower child” when reminiscing about her younger years. She was bold and outspoken, adventurous and loved living life.

When Connie was 24 she gave birth to her son Peter Klaus who she was extremely proud of and loved unconditionally. Over the course of Connie’s life, she has had a hand is raising and caring for many of her family members. She loved all her kids and as her family grew her heart always grew with it.

Along side her love for her family, Connie had a deep love for animals and a gift for nurturing all living things. She loved her dogs very much and she enjoyed attending to her chickens. She enjoyed caring for her plants and flowers as she did for the people she held close.

She found peace in the simple pleasures—being outside in the fresh air, caring for her home, searching for yard sales and collecting new knickknacks and adding to her porcelain doll collection but most of all Connie loved sharing meaningful moments with her loved ones. She loved waking up sharing her mornings with Randy and their dogs to falling asleep on the couch together. She loved catching with up with her son over the phone and hearing about his crazy adventures. Connie enjoyed hosting holiday dinners and reunions big or small with her family. Her laughter, warmth, and unwavering love left an everlasting imprint on all who knew her.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Jackson Black and Louise Black, her sister Bonnie Black, many other siblings and children, and her beloved grandson, Carter James Bishop.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Peter Klaus; her spouse, Randal Hensley; her stepdaughter, Melissa (Don); her brothers, Richard, Ronnie, and Gary Black; and dear nieces, nephews and many relativities. She was a proud grandmother to Makayla and Jeri-Lynn, who will carry her legacy forward with strength and love.

Connie's life was a true reflection of grace, loyalty, and unconditional love. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
